Breast Cancer Network of Australia

A network of breast cancer consumer groups and individuals across the country. The Network:

  • Links those Australians who have been personally affected by breast cancer, and offers them a national voice.
  • Seeks to improve the treatment and care of those diagnosed with breast cancer
  • Works towards preventing the disease for the benefit of the whole community.

Whilst there are several breast cancer agencies operating within Australia, the Breast Cancer Network Australia is an initiative of ordinary Australians - not health professionals, not scientists, not health administrators - and is the only national ‘consumer’ organisation active in breast cancer work.
